She was one of the founding members of Groupon Malaysia during its early days in the country. Leading a team of 25 as Head of Editorial, she played an integral role in optimising and refining the creative processes to establish Groupon as the e-commerce giant in Malaysia.
Jolene later co-founded a health start-up in Malaysia, growing a vibrant community of health enthusiasts online. Healthworks.my grew from a site with no public attention to 2.5 million visitors in the span of six months, with content featured across the globe, and partnerships with the Malaysia Ministry of Health, Philips, Squatty Potty, and many more.
After moving to Norway to be with her husband, she managed the content marketing strategy for Zparkl — an e-learning platform selling self-improvement courses globally.
